ELNAN COTTAGE
Holiday Rental
ABOUT
This early 20th century 3-bedroom house has been extensively refurbished and modernised. It sleeps 6 with two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room. There are two bathrooms, (one en suite), a sitting room/dining area and separate kitchen.

The house is set back from the road, nestling at the foot of a mountain. A large grassed area at the front of the house provides space for children to play, (but due to a shallow stream on the boundary, young children should be supervised).

The village of Ballyliffin is a short distance away with a shop, petrol station, fast food shop and four large hotels which serve great food. The world renowned Ballyliffin Links Golf Course is visible from the house and less than a mile away by road.

The nearest beach is Pollan Bay, a magnificent two mile stretch of golden sand. It is only a ten minute drive away and is just one of the many picturesque beaches within easy reach of the house. There is a children's playground close to the beach.

Situated on the Inishowen Peninsula this house is in one of Ireland's most beautiful areas. Opportunities for walking, cycling , golf, surfing and horse riding are all close at hand, as well as places of historical interest. The Giants Causeway coast is within easy reach as is the military museum at Fort Dunree.

Malin Head (Ireland's most northerly point) is a short drive away with its panoramic views of the North Atlantic coastline. Mamore Gap, a mountain pass 800 feet above sea level also provides some spectacular views. Just a forty minute drive from Derry, this cottage is in an ideal location, close to various transport links.
